recipe for mashed potato toast

Potatoes: soft mashed potato from fresh meal should be quickly heated 
Slice Bread white or brown Toast the bread under the grill rather than in the toaster. Toast one side to golden brown, turn it over and lightly toast the other side for no more than 30 seconds so that it's crisped 
Cheese, Onion and paper While the potatoes are heating and the  slice or grate some hard cheese and finally chop a little garlic and thinly slice the tomato.
Baked cheese: If you're serving baked beans with your Potato and Cheese Toasty then put them in the pan to heat slowly you're preparing and cooking your potato.
To make your crispy, Butter the toast but not browned side of the toast (preferably with margarine).
Add a heaped tablespoon of mashed potato on the toast and smooth evenly across the toast with the back of a fork.
add potato with a few slices of tomato and a thin layer of finally chopped onion.
thin cheese as a final topping, either thinly sliced or grated.
slow the height of the grill pan to make the grill for these 'toasties' if the grill pan height is fixed then lower the grill tray (wire try) within the grill pan e.g. turn it upside down.
Place your Potato and Cheese Toasty under the grill and heat until the cheese has melted and is a light golden brown.
